A very tasteful nude. It's not about the pose or the model - it's about capturing that feeling of peace just like the title says and it's done something I think a lot of art strives to do - capture the moment. Beautiful throughout the composition and I'd love to visit that spot one day.
Thank you for your comments. This photograph was taken in South Switzerland in a perfect soft light. Without the model, I would not have choosen this setting, the photograph would be dull and meaningless. With the model it was very successful and earned many awards.
This looks amazing. You showed the sense of peacefulness very well. Also I liked how you picked the angle to not have her reflection seen. Also I liked the simple pose of the model. Nothing stands out in a distracting way and it's easy to look at the entire image at once.
Um, while you are entitled to your opinion, it is kind of null and in void, since the picture was ment to have the model in it. Or at least in the photographer's eyes. And it seems his main focus of photography is people...
I mean, it is obvious that this is not a landscape or nature photograph. There isn't really anything you can do about it.
In my opinion, while yes, this would be pretty without the model, it would be rather boring without without it, acting as filler content in a gallery. The background is blurred (I'm not sure if that is with the camera or post production) and if it wasn't blurred it wouldn't add much. And we would just have a hooked rock.
That is just my take on the picture, since the picture is ment to be focused on the model.
That's a damn rude thing to say, don't you think? As it's in people & portraits, one would assume if you would prefer to view photographs without people in them, you may wish to look to the landscape gallery instead.
